GINGERBREAD FESTIVAL

Important Notes and Rules

• Event Location: Jeremiah Lee Mansion, 161 Washington Street, Marblehead.
• Drop-off: Friday, December 6th from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Categories Include: Best Marblehead Themed, Best Business, Best School Group, Best Non-School Group, Best Creative, Best Traditional, Best Under 5 (kids only) and Best 6-11 (kids only)
• Gingerbread House Guidelines:
  We encourage individual submissions to be no larger than 18"x24" and group/school submissions to be no larger than 24"x36" so that we can accommodate as many creations as possible.
  
  We encourage all gingerbread house structures to primarily be made of edible materials (such as gingerbread, but pretzel rods, etc. are also fine.) Some non-edible decorations (such as figurines, other accents) are fine as well, but if the overall house structure is made of primarily non-edible materials, it may be excluded from the official judging process.
  
  Unfortunately, the Gingerbread Festival won't be able to support gingerbread house structures that require suspension or hanging since we're unable to hang anything from the walls of the Jeremiah Lee Mansion, as a historic building. Thank you for understanding!
• Creation pick-up will be Tuesday, December 10 - Friday, December 13th from 10:00 am - 4:00 PM. Please don't forget to pick up your creations, they will be discarded on Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 am if not picked up.
