The Marblehead Family Fund is a community based organization created to improve Marblehead’s playgrounds, parks, and open spaces. Our mission is to provide low-cost, family-focused events to raise funds for Marblehead’s recreational spaces.

Hobbs Playground

The Marblehead Family Fund has announced their newest project - Raising funds for a new Hobbs Playground. Located at Brook Road and Ware Lane, Hobbs has been a favorite of the youngest children with bucket seats for swinging and short slides. Many children use this playground while their sibling play T-ball and soccer on the adjacent fields. Unfortunately, the equipment has deteriorated over time.

The MFF is passionate about providing safe and inviting environments in Marblehead. We welcome donations of any amount towards a new playground! Donations can be sent to:

Gingerbread Festival

Come see over 100 locally made gingerbread creations on display at the Lee Mansion during the Marblehead Christmas Walk.

Touch A Truck

Get up close and personal with heavy-duty landscape and construction equipment, police cars, ambulances and a host of trucks.

Come One Come All! Escape from the cold for some fun, games and prizes!

80’s/90’s Trivia & Dance Party

Put on your thinking caps because you are totally about to get challenged with some serious 80’s/90’s Trivia.

Seattle based Charlie Hope, an award winner/song-writer came to town to celebrate beautiful music and lots of dancing with this cute crew

Magic Show

Abracadabra let’s build a playground. A magical afternoon spent being tricked and with treats and a special appearance by the furry assistant Hocus Pocus.
